Baba Siddique’s son, politician Zeeshan Siddique, shared in a recent interview that Bollywood actor Salman Khan checked in on him regularly after his father’s death. NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead outside Zeeshan’s office on October 12 while bursting firecrackers on the occasion of Dussehra. A member of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility for Baba Siddique’s murder, saying he was targeted due to his close association with Salman Khan.

In an interview recently BBC HindiZeeshan Siddique said that Salman Khan supported him. She also shared that the actor has been checking in on her every night since her father died.

He said: “Salman Bhai…woh bhi bahut sad hue iss cheez se. Pitaji aur Salman bhai sage bhai jaise close up. Supports Aur Pitaji ke jane ke baad bhi bhai ne bahut diya hai. Humesha checked the card and did just that. Yeh woh…neend nahi aati hai…baat karte hai (Salman Bhai… he was also very upset about this situation. My father and Salman Bhai were very close, they were like real brothers. Even after my father passed away, Salman Bhai supported me a lot. He always checks on me at night. I can’t sleep, we talk).”

Zeeshan emphasized that Salman always supports him. “Hamesha and support toh raha hai (His support was always there).”

Meanwhile, Zeeshan Siddique joins NCP group It was led by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday, October 25. He was expelled from the Congress in August for allegedly cross-voting in the Maharashtra legislative council elections, a charge he has previously denied.
