“The national average gasoline price continued its decline last week as oil prices fell as Israel refrained from attacking Iran’s oil infrastructure and seasonal declines in demand caused gasoline to fall further, as is normal this time of year. “Not only have gasoline prices fallen to their lowest level since January, but the average diesel price has also fallen to its lowest level in three years,” said Patrick De Haan, Head of Petroleum Analysis at GasBuddy.

“While many Americans mistakenly think the declines are due to upcoming elections, politicians have little influence on the strong seasonal factors that cause prices to fall in the fall,” de Haan said. “Given that winter gasoline will soon reach the rest of California and demand will continue to drop as Americans deal with cold weather, the drop in demand is pushing gas prices downward; it’s not so much politicians on both sides as they think they will. The decline in gasoline prices will continue through the upcoming election and even beyond.” I am thinking.”

The national average price of a gallon of gasoline fell 5.3 cents last week to $3.07.

The national average is 12.9 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and 39.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

The national average price for diesel fell 2.6 cents last week to $3.54 per gallon.
