Today’s Best NFL Prop Bets for Week 8 (Jaguars Defense Is No Match for Jordan Love)

With 14 matches to be played today and no London game, we will be under football overload from 1pm onwards. There are eight games at 1pm and five games in the afternoon. This will give us plenty of betting opportunities throughout today’s action.

If you’re looking for some player support to bet on for Week 8, you’ve come to the right place. In Sunday’s list, I will list my top three player qualities; including one where Jordan Love had a spectacular performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Anthony Richardson Under 16.5 Finishes (-125)

Among those who love football analytics, there is a statistic called “EPA+CPOE” which stands for “Expected point addition and completion percentage greater than expected.” It’s largely used to measure quarterback performance, and if you take all quarterbacks who played at least 128 snaps this season, Anthony Richardson passed away It ended with a significant difference.

In fact, you might be surprised to learn that he completed more than 10 passes only once all season. His completion percentage is below 50% and he struggles with his accuracy more than we’ve seen from another quarterback in a long time.

Now he must face a Texans defense that has the lowest opponent completion percentage in the league. All of this means betting that Richardson will fall short of his completion total, which is a no-brainer bet.

Javonte Williams OVER 62.5 Rushing Yards (-118)

Javonte Williams has looked impressive in the last few games for the Denver Broncos and they currently have one of the most positive matchups he will have all season. The Carolina Panthers ranked 29th in both opponent rushing EPA and opponent success rate, while also allowing the most overall rushing yards per game at 162.1.

I think the Broncos will use the ball early and often, which will work in Denver’s favor. I wouldn’t be surprised if Williams tops that figure for the second week in a row.

Jordan Love OVER 260.5 (-113)

The Jacksonville Jaguars have struggled defending against the pass all season long. They rank last in opponent drop EPA, 26th in opponent drop success rate, and allow teams to average 7.6 yards per carry, the third-highest mark in the league.

Now they have to try to defend against Jordan Love and a stacked Packers core. Love is already averaging 270.2 passes per game this season, so if he can match his season average for second against the terrible Jaguars, this bet will win.
