A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman and her two children were stabbed in east London.

The woman in her 30s, an eight-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy were found with stab wounds after police were called to First Avenue in Dagenham at around 5.35pm on Friday.

Kulvinder Ram, 48, of First Avenue, Dagenham, will be remanded in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday on three counts of attempted murder, the Met Police said.

While the women and children who were taken to the hospital are being treated, their condition is not life-threatening. Police added that everyone involved knew each other.
