TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— Alabama rolled to a 34-0 victory over Missouri at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, and the Crimson Tide was able to stay relatively healthy in the blowout win. However, wide receiver and starting punt returner Cole Adams left with an injury.

Adams was injured on the Crimson Tide’s first offensive possession of the game and was immediately taken to the injury tent. He was then taken to the locker room and returned later with his left foot heavily strapped to crutches.

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said after the game that it was a “lower extremity injury” that would be further evaluated Monday.

“It feels like it’s something he’s going to miss after a while,” DeBoer said.

Adams has been Alabama’s punt returner for most of this season, making six catches for 94 yards on the year.
