A man was killed in a crash on a major interstate in Ohio early Saturday.

Colerain Township Police responded to eastbound Intestate 275 crossing I-74 near mile marker 49 around 12:20 a.m., according to our news partner. WCPO in Cincinnati.

Many injuries occurred in the accident involving three vehicles. It is not known how many people were hospitalized.

WCPO said a man identified as Todd Rutledge Sr. was transported to UC Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

Cincinnati TV station reports portions of I-275 reopened just before 5 a.m. WLWT TV reported.

The investigation into the accident continues.
