Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post endorses Trump’s second presidency.

The newspaper’s editorial board says the election is “one of the most important in the history of this great nation” and adds that the decision “will reverberate for decades to come.”

Addressing concerns about the US border, safe cities, the US’s position on the world stage and gender, Post says Trump is the “only” option.

The newspaper’s support for the former president is notable considering Trump abandoned his presidency following the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. “Trump has proven once again that he is unworthy to be the chief executive of this country,” the editorial board wrote at the time.

The Post’s editorial is one of several recently published: The New York Times endorses Harris as “only choice” for president; just like The Boston Globe.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Times has seen controversy over the lack of any acknowledgment.

Patrick Soon-Shiong, owner of the LA Times, did not allow the support for Harris to be published; This led to the resignation of editorial board leader Mariel Garza. According to the news of the US publication Semafor, two other board members also resigned.
