If you’re diving into Liberty Falls and planning to eventually complete the Easter Egg, here’s what you need to know. Tune in though, there’s a lot to cover.

Reach Hilltop Church

To reach Hilltop Church, we recommend you follow the steps below; It may be a long road, but this gives you access to the Mystery box on the way:

1. Load into Liberty Falls and Unlock the locked barrier between the Ice Cream and Fast Forward Store.
2. To call Go and wander around Olly’s shop, unlocking the door in front of you.
3. Go up the stairs and continue straight, soon going up two flights of stairs.
4. Head straight until you see a crafting bench, then turn left next to the building. Unlock the door ahead.
5. Find the front of the church and unlock the main entrance.

Interact with the machine in the church

1. Once inside the church, press Square on PlayStation or X on Xbox to interact with the large machine on the right
2. You will hear a dialog indicating that you are interacting with the machine

Get a Jet Gun

The Thrustodyne M23 Wonder Weapon, known as the Jet Gun, can be found or crafted in the Mystery Box.

Mystery Box

The Mystery Box spawns randomly and can be purchased for 950 Essence. You’ll have to unlock the Jet Gun a few times before you get it, as you’re unlikely to find a Wonder Gun. There is also always a chance to get a teddy bear that changes the location of the Mystery Box.

Use the Jet Gun to get three LTG Device parts

1. Go back to the church and hold down the interaction button on the machine we mentioned earlier. A hat will appear on the balcony above the church entrance. Use the Jet gun to suck it into the hat.
2. Then go back to Washington Boulevard. Call Buzz’s Cuts barber shop. Hop in a vehicle and suck up an object from the right window above the barber shop.

1. Finally, go to the comic book store at the front of the map and absorb an item on the broken ceiling above the store counter.

Create LTG Device

Take the zip-line over the shops on Washington Avenue to the Bank roof and find the LTG Device counter on the other side of the zip-line.

Use LTG Device

1. Go to the church and get an Ether Box from the machine.
2. Carry the box to the gas station near where you spawned it and place it next to one of the traps on the ground.

1. Place the LTG device on the ground and protect the area from zombies for 60 seconds.
2. An Abomination will appear and you need to capture it with the Ether Box
3. Weaken Abomination and finish him off while he’s stunned by the trap near the Ether Box; the box will capture its essence.

Use Strauss Counter

1. Return the Aether Box to the machine in the church to receive the Strauss Counter.
2. There is a machine in the grass on the hill in front of the bowling alley.

1. Use the Strauss Counter in front of it by holding down the button you usually press for tactical equipment items.
2. Press the interaction button to activate the machine.
3. Match the machine color to the Strauss Counter.

Find the other two machines

1. There is a white house at the top of the street near the church.
2. The second machine is in the backyard.

1. Use the Strauss Counter and match the colors.
2. The last machine is located on the Bank roof, accessible by rope.

Use the second Ether Box

A second Ether Container will pop out of the ground in the spawn area.

1. Pick up the LTG Device from where you left it to capture the Abomination.
2. Place the Ether Box next to a trap on the street leading to the church.
3. Place the LTG Device in a marked location in the Graveyard.
4. Defend the area for 60 seconds.
5. Direct the resulting Mengler to the Ether Box you placed.
6. Kill the Mangler while he is stunned by the trap and his essence will go into the Ether Box
7. Deliver the Ether Box to the machine

Prepare for the final fight

Once all three boxes are placed in the machine, you can activate it to start the final fight. Before doing this, we recommend using the Pack-a-Punch machine to upgrade weapons, the Arsenal to increase weapon rarity, purchase improved armor, and use Perks that may be useful for survival.

Activate the machine when you feel confident. Survive three intense waves of zombies. An elite Mengler and abomination will emerge during this attack.

After defeating each zombie the easter egg will start. We won’t spoil what happens next.
