Penn State A bye week is coming, perhaps a chance to bounce back from an incredible 33-30 come-from-behind overtime victory over the USC Trojans last time out.

The Nittany Lions scored 34.2 points per game and focused on a devastating offense that allowed 201.2 yards per game.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin Badgers They bounced back after being crushed by back-to-back losses to Alabama (then ranked No. 4) and USC (then ranked No. 13) by a combined score of 80-31.

They have dominated three straight wins, collecting 117 points and improving to 3-1 in the Big Ten with 16 points. Offensively, they’re right up there with PSU, racking up 194 yards per game on the ground and scoring an average of 29 points.

The Badgers’ run defense has also been pretty strong over the last three games, surrendering an average of just 131.3 yards per contest.

The Nittany Lions are just 2-4 against the spread in six games this season, while Wisconsin has gone three straight after starting the season 0-4 ATS.

This is a must-win game for PSU, but if the game gets off to a slow start again and the Badgers can get some daylight with their own running game, they won’t be hanging around.

OU transfer Tawee Walker has been a wrecking ball during Wisconsin’s winning streak, racking up 126 yards on 23 carries against Northwestern last week.

He has rushed for at least 94 yards in the last three games, including a remarkable 198 yards and three scores against Rutgers.

Penn State may have a dominant run defense, but the Badgers are determined to hit the rock: They currently lead the Big Ten in rushing attempts, averaging over 40 per game. Walker will have many chances to find daylight.
