For scoring purposes, both drivers will be given the official starting spots they earned in qualifying on Saturday, but they will be held back during pace laps in the Straight Talk Wireless 400 due to unapproved adjustments to both race cars following Saturday’s race. Follow the action around 1.5 miles of highway in South Florida.

Both drivers and teams experienced steering problems. While Buescher’s team will replace the steering rack on his No. 17 machine, Logano’s team will also replace the steering system on his car.

While Logano is a NASCAR Cup Series Round of 8 Playoff contender, his advancement to the Championship 4 will not depend on how he performs in Sunday’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Logano’s goal A win in the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway This past weekend was the opening race of the three-race Round 8 of the Playoffs.

Logano locked himself into the Championship 4 with the victory and can breathe easy as he prepares to challenge for his third career NASCAR Cup Series championship this weekend and next weekend at Martinsville Speedway, Nov. 10 at Phoenix Raceway.
