A motorcyclist died Friday night in Perry County after he was thrown from his bike during a crash, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.

Police said the crash happened at the intersection of Keystone Way and Pine Grove Road in Center Township around 11 p.m.

The motorcyclist, who was not identified in the police report, was driving a 2015 Harley-Davidson Road Glide northbound on Keystone Way when he lost control, went off the roadway, and fell himself from the motorcycle.

New Bloomfield EMS took the motorcyclist to the hospital but pronounced him dead before arriving, police said.
