KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – Law enforcement authorities are searching for a woman who was last seen leaving her home in Kansas City, Kansas, on Friday.

Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department He said law enforcement is asking for the community’s help in finding missing Janice M. Charles, 87. He was last seen at N. 30th and Garfield Ave. He was seen near his home in the area.

KCKPD noted that Charles was described as a Black female, 6 feet tall, 105 pounds, with very short, cropped gray hair. She was last seen wearing purple tights, black shoes and possibly a black jacket.

Anyone with information on Charles’ whereabouts should report it to 911 or KCKPD at 913-596-3000. His family fears for his safety.

Law enforcement officials noted that Charles would have been much thinner than the one pictured, as he had lost weight since his photo was taken.
