Castlegar RCMP say they have arrested a Rossland man accused of causing extensive property damage with spray paint.

Police arrested 39-year-old Kyle Hahn, who was charged with criminal mischief and released on bail conditions, according to a statement released by the detachment on Oct. 25.

“The police investigation identified similarities between several of these incidents, and during interviews with witnesses and review of security footage, a suspect and a linked vehicle were identified.”

Hahn allegedly caused property damage over a three-month period. In one incident, a large spray-painted vehicle caused an estimated $80,000 in damage, police said.
