Fatal crash in Rensselaer is under investigation.

Investigators say one person went into cardiac arrest just after 7 a.m. Friday morning.

They crashed into a parked car at Broadway and Tracy Street.

The person was pronounced dead a short time later at Albany Medical Center.

The roads in the region were closed for a while and were later reopened.

Police will not release the victim’s name until they notify the family.
