Court heard Barbie Kardashian wanted to sexually ‘torture’ female prisoner as ‘revenge’ – The Irish Times

A transgender woman wanted to “torture” a female Limerick Prison inmate using an “electric wand” on her genitals and “execute him by electrocution”, she told her hearing on Friday.

Barbie Kardashian told Limerick Circuit Criminal Court that he threatened to rape a female inmate at Limerick Prison and sexually assault a female prison officer while on remand.

Kardashian has denied making one count of threats to kill or cause serious harm to Tegan McGhee, who was incarcerated at the prison, on February 25, 2023.

Kardashian, who the court heard was raised as a male named Gabriel Alejandro Gentile and received a certificate from the State recognizing him as a female, also denies threatening to kill or cause serious harm to female prison officer Roisin Linnane. prison, 9 and 11 June 2023.

Trial judge Colin Daly told the jury of seven women and five men to find Kardashian “not guilty” on April 25, 2023, for the third time he threatened to kill or cause serious harm to Ms Linnane.

The jury retired this afternoon to consider its verdict on the remaining three counts after hearing closing arguments from the prosecution and defense.

Kardashian told the court today that she wanted to “make pain” for Ms McGhee and Ms Linnane because she was upset and angry that rumors were circulating that she had left showers dirty on the women’s landing of the prison.

Kardashian claimed today that Ms Linnane “clearly intimidated” her on the landing, but Ms Linnane had previously denied this in a direct statement to the court.

Tegan McGhee said at the hearing earlier this week that she accused Kardashian of leaving the showers dirty.

Ms McGhee said she had the job of cleaning the showers and had to use a “hose” several times to remove “body hair” from the showers.

On Friday, when cross-examined by prosecutor John O’Sullivan, Kardashian admitted telling Ms McGhee that he would rape her with an object so that she would be so injured that she “couldn’t have children”.

Mr O’Sullivan asked Kardashian “what object” he would use to rape Ms McGhee.

“I wanted to use an electric wand, but that wasn’t possible for me. I remember thinking that I wanted to use the handle of a sweeping brush or mop. “I wanted to sexually torture her (Ms. McGhee), I wanted to sexually electrocute her genitals,” Kardashian replied.

When asked why an “object” was used for rape, Kardashian replied, “I said object because I am a woman and women use objects too.”

“I hate having male genitalia and use an object to rape. “If a woman wants to rape me, I rape her like this.”

When Mr O’Sullivan put it to Kardashian that the defendant had only been heard threatening women at the hearing, she replied: “Since these incidents I have threatened to sexually assault men.”

Kardashian admitted she was “snapping” after rumors circulated about her and the showers for “months.”

He said he threatened to rape Ms McGhee and “sexually assault” or “harass” Ms Linnane.

“I wanted to punish those who made false allegations against me for life… I wanted to take revenge,” Kardashian said.

Mr O’Sullivan stated that he wanted the defendant to believe that Tegan McGhee’s rape threat was real.

Kardashian replied: “Yes, I wanted him to suffer. “I felt that he had wronged me and I wanted to take revenge.”

Kardashian told the court: “The rape threats were made against Tegan, not Roisin Linnane.”

He said he was locked in his cell for up to 22 hours a day and isolated from the prison population.

Correctional Officer Aiden O’Meara at Limerick Prison previously testified that he heard Kardashian threatening to “rape” and “kill” Ms McGhee.

“I have no doubt that the threat was made with malicious intent and forethought,” Mr O’Meara said.
