This was the first goal the Vikings allowed in the first quarter all year.

The game was tied at 7 with 6:38 left in the first quarter.

Nacua dropped his first target on the Rams’ first offensive drive, but that didn’t stop quarterback Matthew Stafford from getting back on track on the next play. The second-year receiver picked up 13 yards on his first catch.

He returned to the field after recovering from the knee injury he suffered in Week 1.

On the Vikings’ first drive of the night, wide receiver Justin Jefferson and running back Aaron Jones combined for 65 yards, but it was tight end Josh Oliver who got the score on the 70-yard drive. Quarterback Sam Darnold found him wide open over the middle on a straight route, and Oliver ran for an easy 5-yard touchdown.

With 10:43 left in the first quarter, it was 7-0 Minnesota.

Curl suffered a lower-body injury while tackling Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson on the first possession of the game. The Rams’ safety was grabbed by his left knee while on the grass after making the tackle.

Rookie safety Kamren Kinchens replaced Curl after the game. The Rams announced that Curl is questionable to return with a knee injury.
