With the holiday season fast approaching, the White House is preparing to deck out the halls.

The annual tradition of choosing the perfect Christmas tree is held through the National Christmas Tree Contest.

This year’s award went to Cartner’s Christmas Tree Farm in Newland, North Carolina.
