Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie Xo have found the secret to keeping their marriage successful.

In an interview with People magazine, the 39-year-old country star revealed that the couple, who got married in 2016, have never been apart for more than 14 days, no matter how hectic life gets.

“Fourteen days was our rule from the very beginning,” said Jelly Roll, native Jason Bradley DeFord. “We actually applied the same rule to our 16-year-old daughter, Bailee. We realized we were going to go months without seeing him, and I said, ‘This is just supposed to be a family.’

Bunnie, 44, has been a steady presence in Jelly Roll’s life since they met at one of his shows in 2015. Although they were in a relationship at the time, they remained friends and eventually fell in love with each other. The two made their union official with an on-stage proposal and then had an impromptu wedding the same night.

Last year, they celebrated their enduring love by renewing their vows at the same Las Vegas church.
