A man’s body was found in the water in Eastbourne. Lower Hutt.

The body was found on Muritai Road in Point Arthur, Wellington police said in a statement.

“Around 9.40am, one of the citizens found the man in the water. “A formal identification process is ongoing and may take some time.”

Police said investigations are ongoing.
