MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Four soldiers from Fort Riley were arrested over the weekend in connection with an incident in Manhattan, authorities said.

The incident was reported around 6:40 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Beechwood Terrace on the west side of Manhattan.

Riley County Police officials tell 13 NEWS a 22-year-old man suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Zachary Davis, 22, of Fort Riley, was arrested around 6:40 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Beechwood Terrace and booked into the Riley County Jail on charges of criminal threats, aggravated battery and criminal damage to property. Davis was being held in the Riley County Jail on $16,000 bail. Authorities said Davis remained in jail Tuesday morning.

Among those detained in connection with the incident are:

• Gregory Beard, 32, of Fort Riley, was arrested around 8:45 Saturday evening in the 100 block of S. Seth Child Road and booked into the Riley County Jail on charges of aggravated battery and criminal damage to property. Beard’s total bond was set at $16,000. Beard remained in jail Tuesday morning, authorities said.

• Deon Benton, 22, of Fort Riley, was arrested around 10:16 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of S. Seth Child Road and booked into Riley County Jail on charges of aggravated battery and criminal damage to property. Benton’s total bond was set at $16,000. Authorities said Benton remained in jail Tuesday morning.

• Jackson Hocutt, 21, of Fort Riley, was arrested around 8:41 Saturday evening in the 100 block of S. Seth Child Road and booked into the Riley County Jail on charges of aggravated battery and criminal damage to property. Hocutt’s total bond was set at $16,000. Authorities said Hocutt was no longer being held in jail Tuesday morning.
