Woman killed on Azalea Boulevard in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police are investigating after a woman was killed at the intersection of Azalea Boulevard and Sandpiper Road in east Henrico.

Police arrived at the intersection around 10:45 p.m. on Nov. 18, 2024, and said a driver hit and killed the woman.

“Upon arrival, officers found an adult female with apparent traumatic injuries. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene,” police said.

The driver remained at the scene near Henrico High School.

Azalea Boulevard was closed between Pony Farm Drive and Huntington Avenue while police investigated the crash.
