Vice President Kamala Harris like that I came back to Philadelphia The countdown to election day on Sunday is approaching a week.

Harris, who spent several days in the Delaware Valley last week, is scheduled to visit the Christian Compassion Church in Philadelphia on Sunday morning before holding a campaign rally in the city tonight.

Harris on Wednesday, October 23 Visited the famous 4th Street Delicatessen in Philadelphia’s Queen Village neighborhood before heading to city hall in Delaware County. Earlier in the week, the vice president met with former Congresswoman Liz Cheney in Chester County in the first of three moderated chats in battleground states.

During that call, Harris appealed to Republican voters who are undecided about voting for former President Donald Trump, claiming he was using the presidency as a way to “humiliate and divide” Americans.

“I think people are rightfully tired of this,” Harris said. “And telling the American people that we should be suspicious of each other, that we shouldn’t trust each other, doesn’t lead to the strength of our nation.”

According to multiple sources, Harris will benefit from the star power of some of her biggest supporters during a benefit concert at Temple University’s Liacouras Center on Monday.

Twenty-time Grammy winner Bruce Springsteen to headline a concert or rally Harris is with former President Barack Obama as part of her campaign’s effort to mobilize voters in the final weeks of the 2024 presidential election.

Speaking to CBS News Philadelphia’s Joe Holden, Harris said she was “honored” to have Obama’s support during the campaign. “And to have people like Bruce Springsteen have their support, and of course he’s an American icon, I think it just shows the breadth and depth of support that we have,” Harris said.

Asked if any other big-name endorsers planned to attend Monday’s event, Harris said with a laugh: “I don’t have anything to report right now. But stay tuned.”

Earlier this month in October, Springsteen endorses Harris and his running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, called former President Trump “the most dangerous presidential candidate in my lifetime.”
