RAMAT HASHARON, Israel — Protesters interrupt Israeli Prime Minister’s speech Benjamin Netanyahu Sunday, at a ceremony commemorating those killed in the Hamas attack on southern Israel last year.

People shouting “Shame on you” and causing chaos forced Netanyahu to stop his speech shortly after it started. The big commemorative event is broadcast live across the country.

Many Israelis blame Netanyahu for the failures that led to this failure. Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attack and we hold him responsible for the fact that the hostages held by the militant group in Gaza have not yet been brought home.

Separately, a truck crashed into a bus stop near Tel Aviv, Israel, injuring 35 people, according to first responders.

Israeli police called it an attack and said the attacker was an Arab citizen of Israel. The collision occurred near the headquarters of Israel’s Mossad spy agency.
