A 23-year-old woman in Ontario is facing charges after a suspected overdose while caring for her baby.

State Police responded to a 911 hangup call on Oct. 30 and found Destiny M. Andrews highly intoxicated at her home. She admitted to deliberately overdosing on Benadryl while her three-month-old child was with her.

After being hospitalized, Andrews was arrested Nov. 8 at a friend’s home in Bloomfield.

The woman, charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, was arraigned and released with a hearing date set for November 19 in Ontario Provincial Court.
