Jarvis Cain and Terrias Cain released after drug investigation in Athens

LIMESTONE CO., Ala. (WAFF) – Two men wanted following a drug investigation in Limestone County have been arrested, authorities said Saturday.

According to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, the narcotics unit executed multiple search warrants throughout Athens with assistance from Limestone County SWAT, Madison County Narcotics Unit, Madison County Street Crimes Unit, Madison County SWAT and Athens Police Department HEAT.

Following search warrants, deputies said 24 pounds of Marijuana, a distribution amount of Methamphetamine, a quantity of Crack/Cocaine, various pills, 10 illegally possessed firearms and US currency were located and seized.

An arrest warrant was issued for two suspects, identified as Jarvis Cain (45) from Athens and Terrias Cain (40) from Athens.

Jarvis was wanted on the following charges: Drug Trafficking Marijuana, Possession of a Handgun by a Violent Felon, and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Terrias was wanted on the following charges: Drug Trafficking-Cocaine, Possession of a Handgun 2 Counts by a Violent Felon, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance-Crack/Cocaine, Unlawful Possession W/ intent to distribute- Methamphetamine.

Deputies said the suspects were in custody as of 18:28 on Saturday.
