In light of growing customer confusion, easyJet has emerged to announce its decision to cease operations on flights to Spain’s bustling capital Madrid, sparking a number of concerns as we approach the New Year period.

One confused traveler questioned the airline directly on social media: “Are you going to discontinue the Madrid-Luton route after March 2025?”

In response, easyJet reassured customers by saying: “Some routes are seasonal.

“We are constantly reviewing our routes and flight availability, so please continue to check our website.”

Competing with big names such as Jet2, TUI, Ryanair, this budget airline has provided a link for customers to subscribe to updates via a newsletter to stay informed about new flights.

What’s more, they’ve sent out a seductive message, inviting customers to think beyond the typical autumn gloom, teasing what’s to come in 2025 with the Big Seat Release promotion, beckoning travelers with the allure of blue skies and new adventures, Birmingham Live reports.

easyJet explained: “From off-season sunshine to half-term bliss, our flights to over 150 destinations in autumn 2025 are now available to book.

“Do you want to escape the city? If you want to get out and discover a hidden gem, Amsterdam and Paris are great options.

“Or if it’s a beach getaway you’re looking for, our customers love Tenerife, Rhodes and Antalya.

“They all have family-friendly beaches, delicious local cuisine and sunny climates.”
