Durham Regional Police say a woman found injured at a home in Oshawa has died.

In a post on X, police said they were conducting a homicide investigation at a home on Eulalie Avenue in Oshawa.

Police said a female victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center with visible injuries but was later pronounced dead.

Police say a male suspect is in custody and there is no threat to public safety.

Durham Police said they would provide more details later on Sunday.
