Korea’s OG egg sandwich brand opens a new store at SM Mall of Asia

MANILA, Philippines – EGGDROP, South Korea’s viral premium egg sandwich brand, is making its highly anticipated debut in the Philippines this December!

In egg-citing news, EGGDROP will open its first store at SM Mall of Asia, Ground Floor, right next to North Main Mall. new Disney StoreLocal franchisee Stewart Ong of Butter and Salt Group Inc. (M Bakery and ST. Ali Coffee,) told Rappler on Friday, November 15.

Ong told Rappler that an exact date in December has yet to be confirmed.

EGGDROP is known for its gourmet egg sandwiches inspired by the egg’s “complete food” concept. A+ class eggs and fresh, quality ingredients are used in the brand’s sandwiches.

Soft, buttery and fluffy scrambled eggs, different fresh ingredients, meats and special sauces are placed between slices of buttered bread.

EGGDROP is the OG brand that started the trending Korean egg sandwich craze, inspiring numerous local stores in and around Korea. Philippines during the pandemic.

EGGDROP first expanded globally in Bangkok, Thailand, making it its second foray outside of Korea with the Manila outpost. EGGDROP will open five branches in the Philippines. The second EGGDROP location is planned for BGC High Street in the first quarter of 2025.

EGGDROP representative Hundo Lee said that they plan to open stores in Japan, Singapore and the USA.
