WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) – Multiple police officers suffered minor injuries after a fight broke out at a high school football game in West Haven on Friday evening.

Police said officers attending the Notre Dame-Hillhouse football game at Veterans Field saw children fighting on the field around 8:25 p.m.

As the group grew, help was sought.

Milford, Orange police, the University of New Haven and State Police provided mutual aid to end the fight.

Many arrests were made.
