(KRON) – Multiple agencies cooperated to arrest a narcotics trafficker who was selling illegal drugs in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The joint effort was investigated by the San Francisco Police Department Narcotics Unit, the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Army National Guard.

The suspect was identified as Oakland resident Kerlin Salgado-Ferrera.

The Narcotics Unit obtained a search warrant for Salgado-Ferrera and his property. On November 13, SF police officers located Salgado-Ferrera abandoning her car near California and Polk Avenues. After a brief pursuit, Salgado-Ferrera disposed of the suspected narcotics, police said. Salgado-Ferrera was arrested for drug trafficking after finding “suspected narcotics and other substances related to drug dealing” on his person.

SFPD searched Salgado-Ferrera’s Oakland home in the 10000 block of MacArthur Boulevard. Officers found 68.1 grams of fentanyl, 101.6 grams of methamphetamine, 237.2 grams of cocaine, 82.4 grams of suspected fentanyl pills, 5.4 grams of heroin and more than $6,000 in cash, police said.

Kerlin Salgado-Ferrera was booked into San Francisco County Jail on the following charges:

• transportation of a controlled substance

• possession of a controlled substance for sale

• possession of cocaine base for sale

• operating or maintaining a drug house

• possession of methamphetamine for sale
