Baltimore Ravens CB Out Against Steelers

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Arthur Maulet has worked hard to get back on the field following knee surgery during training camp, but unfortunately injury luck doesn’t seem to be on his side this season.

In Friday’s final injury report, the Ravens announced that Maulet will officially miss Sunday’s game against his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, due to a calf injury. Images of Maulet, who played in only three matches this season, have emerged. wearing hiking boots After practice on Thursday.

Last season, Maulet found a home in Baltimore, totaling 37 tackles, five passes defensed and one interception. He established himself as the team’s best cornerback, earning a two-year extension in the process. However, this season has not been very productive for the journeyman corner as he has played a limited role even when healthy.

In brighter news, star safety Kyle Hamilton will officially start the game on Sunday. claims he will Early on Friday. Hamilton suffered a non-contact injury in last week’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals, but was incredibly lucky to only suffer an ankle sprain without suffering anything season-ending. HE I missed some time in training this weekbut it feels good enough to try it this weekend.

“I’m just playing the waiting game; I’m just doing what I have to do; I’m coming here and getting better and taking baby steps every day.” Hamilton said. “(You) can’t be disappointed about that. I know it was a quick turnaround from the injury. I think I was just trusting the process (and) trusting the coaches and they got me right.”

The only other Raven with game status is defensive tackle Travis Jones, who is questionable with an ankle injury. Jones was on track to breakout in his third season before suffering an injury that limited him to two consecutive games. But he did play more against Cincinnati, which could be a good sign of his status going forward.

All other players were full participants in Friday’s practice.
