RURAL, Province. – There’s a lot to celebrate this Thanksgiving after an Illinois Lottery player claimed to have won big on a scratch-off ticket.

The $10 million winning ticket was purchased at the Jewel-Osco store. rural area5545 South Brainard Ave., lottery officials said Friday. He said he was at the address.

The winner received the second of three top prizes in the scratch game. The store will receive a bonus of one percent of the prize amount or $100,000.

There’s still a $10 million prize for Illinois Lottery players.

“Additionally, this game has 15 $1 million prizes and the best odds to win $500 of any scratch-off ticket currently available in Illinois,” lottery officials said.

10 million – 50 instant tickets

This winner became the 48th Illinois Lotto player to win $1 million or more on a scratch-off ticket this year.

The first $10 million instant ticket grand prize was claimed in May 2024, according to lottery officials.
