BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Chroma Cafe & Bakery celebrated its official grand opening under new ownership on Friday.

New owner Leighton Blackwood is a Binghamton University graduate and founder of 2nd Heaven Bubble Tea.

Blackwood said he envisions Chroma Cafe & Bakery to be a vibrant hub that welcomes students and the local community.

He said he noticed the demand for bubble tea on campus while he was a student at Binghamton University. This led him to open 2nd Heaven in college.

Chroma Cafe will also serve bubble tea. Pastries, cakes, seasonal treats and lunch favorites will also be sold.

Chroma Cafe is located at 97 Court St. in Binghamton.
