A bride revealed during the rehearsal dinner that her sister-in-law did not invite her mother to her wedding.

“This made me realize that this wasn’t the atmosphere I wanted for our wedding,” she continued. “My husband texted his parents telling them what had happened and they told us we had to uninvite them both and that they would support us.”

The bride added that they were “trying to keep the peace” by keeping her sister-in-law on the guest list while giving up on inviting the mother.

But four days after the bride and groom returned home from the wedding celebrations, the husband found a message from his sister-in-law’s mother asking for a refund for the money he spent on the wedding.

The bride said the mother was “talking about me and what a —- I was for making sure she wasn’t invited to the wedding we were going to when she was already there.” So am I a —–?”

Looking at the comments section, many readers sided with the bride over the sister-in-law’s mother.
