The Cleveland Guardians are making several changes to their jersey sets, changing their look for the 2025 season.

Blue Alternate Route Uniform

The biggest change for the 2025 season will be seen in Cleveland’s blue alternate uniform set. The jersey will continue to feature a navy blue base but will move away from ‘Cleveland’ on the chest and feature the Guardians ‘Diamond C’ logo instead. The new look elevates the Guardians’ primary logo while referencing the franchise’s jerseys from 1901-1945, including the 1920 World Series team jersey, which featured the letter ‘C’ on the chest.

The stripes on the blue jersey will be different from the other jerseys because the jersey will have red-white-red stripes that match the navy blue base.

Red Alternate Home Uniform

The Guardians’ red home alternative jersey will feature a new look on the chest, with the 2024 Guardians lettering changing to the club’s Bridge Print font with ‘Guardians’ on the chest. The stripes on the red jersey will have a blue-white-blue look.

The new look allows the club to continue incorporating Guardians branding into the jersey set and features the same font seen on the number on the back of all Cleveland jerseys.

White Home Uniform

Cleveland’s white home jersey will continue to maintain its primary historic look with ‘Guardians’ across the chest. The logo will switch from tilted to horizontal. There will be new stripes with a red-blue-red design on the collar and sleeves of the jersey.

A new home cap will be released in 2025 with only a white jersey set, as the main color of the cap will change to red with a blue brim. All caps will continue to feature the letter ‘Diamond C’ and the club’s blue cap with red visor will be worn with all other kits (home red, road blue, road grey).

Road gray uniforms will remain the same.

Cleveland advanced all the way to the ALCS last season and won the American League Central before losing to the New York Yankees. The Guardians are projected to be good in 2025 as well, but they have questions to answer in the starting rotation. There are also rumors that the team will potentially trade first baseman Josh Naylor.
