It’s important to know how these currencies work because you don’t want to. accidentally make a mistake that could ruin your account.

That’s why we’ve compiled everything you need to know about all the currencies in the game below, including what they’re used for and how you can get them.

All Pokemon TCG Pocket currencies announced

There are currently a total of 11 currencies in the game, each with different purposes. Some of them can be used to buy accessories from the store, but there are others that can help you get more cards in the long run.

Poke Gold is a currency that can be used to purchase cosmetics, shopping packs, Hourglass Pack and others. This can be obtained by purchasing it with real money, but players can also earn it as a reward for leveling up; But you won’t get that much.

Package Hourglass

Hourglass Pack is one of the most important currencies to get more cards.

Hourglass Pack is an important currency used to reduce the time it takes to regenerate your stamina and shorten the time to open more booster packs. To get this currency you need to level up and complete quests, but you can also buy it from the store.

Wonderful Hourglass

If you’re lucky, you may draw a rare card from the Wonder Pick feature.

Wonder Hourglass is very similar to Pack Hourglass. However, instead of shortening the time to open more booster packs, the currency Great Selection featureWhere you can pick up a random card from another player’s set. Leveling up and completing quests will reward you with Amazing Hourglasses.

Buy Tickets

You can get Shop Tickets from the Lapras event in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

Shop Ticket currency is used to purchase various items in the Shop, such as accessories, promotional cards, Amazing Hourglasses, and more.

Players can earn Shop Tickets by completing Pokedex quests, participating in events, buying and saving cards, completing Solo battles, and even thanking the user for choosing the Wonder Pick.

Special Shop Ticket

The Special Shop Ticket works almost similarly to the Shop Ticket; the only difference is that this allows you to purchase exclusive cosmetics that are currently available in the store. You can obtain this currency by recycling cards of rarities one, two and three, as well as copies of gold crown cards.

Premium Ticket

Premium Ticket currency can be exchanged with: promotional cards and various cosmetics from the store. Only those who subscribe to the Premium Pass can receive this currency, as it is part of the Premium Mission rewards.

Package Points

The Pack Point exchange screen allows you to create cards.

Pack Points currency is used for: create your own cards. This currency is really important because it allows you to be guaranteed to get the card you want to build your deck, rather than relying on opening booster packs. You can earn Pack Points by opening booster packs, each of which gives you five points.

Emblem Ticket

As the name suggests, the Emblem Pass is used to purchase various themed emblems that serve as cosmetics that you can display on your profile and show off to other players. To earn Emblem Tickets, players will need to complete Themed collections and Dex missions in-game.

Event Shop Ticket

Event Shop Ticket is a currency that players can use to obtain special items and cosmetics from events.

This means that it can only be earned during events, usually by completing event missions. However, this does not exclude the possibility of it being available as a Bonus Pick in Wonder Pick events.

There’s also Shinedust, a currency you can actually use to craft Abilities for your Pokemon cards. Flairing your cards does not change their stats, but instead adds unique visuals to them.

Obtaining Shinedust is quite simple as you can get it by opening the same cards. Apart from this, you can also obtain them by completing missions and achievements.

Advance Ticket

Unlike all other currencies, the Advance Ticket is currently not yet available and it is unclear exactly what it is for. It may be part of a future update, which has been brought up before. All players who log in between October 30, 2024 and January 30, 2025 will automatically receive this as a reward.
