NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – Two people were shot in a gas station parking lot Saturday afternoon.

North Charleston Police responded to a shooting at the Scotchman gas station on Rivers Boulevard on Greenridge Road around 1:25 p.m.

According to police spokesman Harve Jacobs, officers learned that a man and a woman had gunshot wounds and were taken to the hospital.

Officers are still searching for a male suspect.
