EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — A stabbing was reported on East Franklin Street in Evansville.

Evansville Dispatch officials said they received a call about an assault in progress at 5:50 p.m. They said EPD, Fire and AMR were sent.

EPD officials said a woman was stabbed and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They said no arrests had been made and police were waiting to obtain a search warrant.

Eyewitness News is working to obtain more information.
