Addressing the Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development of the National Assembly, chaired by Junaid Akbar, Secretary, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, he said that the unemployment rate in Pakistan stands at 6.3 percent and the highest percentage affects youth between the ages of 15-34. Thursday.

In his online briefing to the committee, the secretary underlined that money coming from the Pakistani diaspora is a very important source of income for the country. He emphasized that the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development can play a very important role in national development.
