LINE of Duty star Adrian Dunbar has released a brand new update as rumors of a brand new series continue to heat up.

The actor admitted that he has already made up a brand new slogan to include in the series.

AdrienThe 66-year-old gave an exciting update while speaking on Virgin Radio with England Ryan Tubridy this morning.

Hastings has a lot of favorite words and it looks like he’s not far away from adding a few more to his daily vocabulary.

During his interview, Adrian said: “What I don’t agree with is the Irish people have a really good saying about not stopping what’s going on: ‘Don’t stall the digger’. ‘Do not delay the digger’.

“That’s a good thing, right? It’s like, ‘You should keep going.’ Next season.”

This admission comes after the show host confirmed that a brand new script for the series is in the works from writer Jed Mercurio, but the cast has yet to receive it.

Adrian said: “It’s in writing… We don’t have a script on our table yet.

“We know Dr. Mercurio is doing something there, Jed writes. But we don’t know when it will happen.”

Adrian’s new revelations come after The Sun exclusively reported that he and co-stars Vicky McClure and Martin Compston were in talks with Jed. to reach a deal regarding the upcoming seventh series.

The actors playing DC Kate Fleming, DS Steve Arnott and Supt Ted Hastings have struggled to commit to another season so far as they are all busy.

An insider said: “Jed is close with Vicky, Martin and Adrian and they often meet up for dinner – this time was different.
