Asha Paulo said that her husband left her years ago when she was pregnant with her second child.

When was Asha Paulo dumped?

Her husband left her when she was two months pregnant, leaving her devastated and helpless.

But Asha did not give up. She worked hard to ensure that her unborn second child and first child had a good life.

“Since my parents died early, I had almost no help even from my family members. I had to look for a job to make ends meet. I educated them with many difficulties,” he said.

Despite all his efforts, one of his sons ended up on the street and never looked back.

Asha’s life became difficult as she looked for other ways to earn money and survive without the support of friends or family.

“I started collecting and selling bottles and cans to make my daily bread. Some days I earn KSh 1,200, sometimes KSh 900. Sometimes I do nothing. On other days, I go to the laundry to earn money,” said the 78-year-old grandmother.
