Friends pray for hospitalized Dennis Prager

Friends of conservative author and radio host Dennis Prager called for prayers and encouragement after the PragerU founder was hospitalized this week following a fall that left him seriously injured.

PragerU’s X account tweeted: “On Tuesday morning, PragerU founder and our dear friend Dennis Prager suffered a serious back injury following a fall.” “He is resting at a local hospital in Los Angeles while doctors evaluate treatment options. We will keep you updated on his condition. In the meantime, Dennis welcomes the healing power of your prayers.”

Prager, 76, has been a national radio broadcaster since 1999.

Prager, who is Jewish, wrote 11 books, including a multi-volume Bible commentary called the Pentateuch. Rational Bible.

In 2009, Prager founded Prager University, or PragerU, which appeals to young people with five-minute videos on a variety of topics from a conservative perspective.

Fellow Salem Media radio host Mark Davis replaced Prager on Wednesday’s radio show and urged listeners to pray for Prager’s “speedy recovery.”

Many prominent conservative figures chose X to support Prager.

“I just heard from Ms. Prager,” said Jason Fyk, founder of the Social Media Freedom Foundation. he tweeted Wednesday. “(Prager’s) situation is much worse than I thought. My thoughts and prayers are with the Prager family, friends and loved ones.”

TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk also described Prager’s downfall as serious and praised Prager for his influence on young conservatives.

“Please join me in praying for my dear friend and Salem radio colleague Dennis Prager,” Kirk wrote. “He suffered a bad fall and doctors are currently evaluating the best treatment options. His impact on my life and this country has been tremendous, and I pray for a full and speedy recovery.”

Claremont Institute associate editor Spencer A. Klavan, son of Daily Wire host Andrew Klavan, noted that he recently saw Prager on Election Night.

“Just two weeks ago I shook Dennis’ hand as we passed each other backstage at the Daily Wire election show,” Klavan wrote. “I have never met a kinder, more serious man of thought and faith. Please pray with me for his recovery.”

“Please, please pray for Dennis Prager, one of the nicest people on planet Earth,” wrote podcaster Dave Rubin.

“Please keep patriot @DennisPrager in your prayers,” Republican Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake wrote. “@Prageru’s 5 minute videos helped me raise my children conservatively. Dennis, get well soon!”

Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts in question “Prayers were needed for one of the great men of our generation.”

“My friend @DennisPrager was in a very bad accident. He is in the hospital, surrounded by his family. PLEASE pray for them all,” radio host Sebastian Gorka wrote.

“A truly great American, Dennis Prager,” said actor Rob Schneider. “May God protect and heal you.”

Christian author and radio host Eric Metaxas also encouraged his followers to pray to X by tweeting a photo of himself with Prager during last year’s “Socrates in the City” event in New York.

“National treasure Dennis Prager, one of my closest and dearest friends, urgently needs our prayers. PLEASE lift him up before God’s throne of grace today and believe God is a miracle.”
