Mumbai Police on Wednesday made a significant breakthrough and arrested Mohammed Sattar in connection with the grisly murder of a man whose dismembered body was found on Gorai beach.

The case began with the discovery of a gruesome male body cut into seven pieces, and the police began assembling a team to solve the mystery and catch the perpetrator.

After collecting crucial details, authorities arrested Sattar from Bhayandar slums. The defendant admitted the crime, saying that he had consumed alcohol with the victim before committing the murder. He then dumped the body parts, packed in plastic bags and a paint can, on Gorai Beach.
