The FBI released surveillance video of an unknown suspect setting fire to a ballot box with an incendiary device in Portland; This is one of several incidents occurring in Oregon and Washington state. 2024 presidential election.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, with bald hair and short hair. He is believed to have some experience in metalworking and welding.

Surveillance footage shows the individual advancing towards the box from early 2003 to 2004 Volvo S-60 sedan, It is described as dark, with dark wheels and a light-colored interior. Authorities said there was no Volvo logo on the vehicle’s front grille.

A fake temporary Washington state license plate was also visible on the rear of the vehicle at the time of the Oct. 28 incident and there was no front license plate. The license plate, which is not associated with a Volvo, may no longer be on the vehicle, officials said.
