Hagoshrim hotel is being renovated for nature lovers

Located in Israel’s Upper Galilee, Hagoshrim Nature Resort and Hotel is undergoing a major renovation with an investment of NIS 10 million to improve its facilities and enhance its nature-focused environment. Currently closed due to the region’s conditions, the hotel aims to reopen by March with a refreshed look and upgraded amenities designed for an immersive, nature-inspired getaway.

The renovation will transform the resort’s Dan Building, reconfiguring its 44 rooms into 32 spacious accommodation units measuring approximately 32 square meters each. Architect Ari Shaltiel, who led this project, emphasized rustic-modern design that combines natural materials such as wood and wicker, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that blends in with the surrounding landscape. “Each room is designed to reflect the beauty of the surroundings,” he said.

Future plans include a new wing with 43 additional rooms with private gardens and panoramic views, designed by architect Oshrat Braun. This wing, whose construction is planned to begin within two years, will further enhance the guest experience by adding a glass elevator, rooftop bar and a second swimming pool.

Billy Romash, the hotel’s acting CEO, expressed his excitement for the project. “As the hotel is closed during this period, we are fully committed to the renovation and refurbishment of the hotel. Hagoshrim is committed to welcoming our guests as soon as possible and being ready to offer them the highest level of hospitality,” he said.

Hagoshrim’s tranquil setting in the heart of nature includes lush greenery, flowing streams and nearby historical sites offering guests a peaceful retreat. Guests will also enjoy expanded amenities, including one of the area’s largest spas, a heated indoor pool, and locally sourced cuisine. This renovation is expected to position Hagoshrim as a premier destination for families, couples and corporate groups seeking relaxation, adventure and a deep connection with nature.
