Israel Adesanya makes definitive predictions for Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic

In a recent analysis YouTube Adesanya gave his prediction for the UFC 309 main event.

“Jon Jones is already looking better at heavyweight. He takes it seriously and the way he fights… The Ciryl Gane fight is what made me say, ‘He’s the best,'” Adesanya said. “Because I thought Ciryl Gane was going to give him some trouble, and Ciryl was the new age heavyweight, and Jon said, ‘Hold my beer.’ The man is very cunning and creative in what he does…

“Stipe is tough. He can work better than a lot of heavyweights, we’ve seen what he’s done in the past. We’ve seen his reign as a heavyweight, knocking people out, knocking people into submission. But I think he’s up against that in this fight. I’m going to pick Jon Jones, he’ll finish him in the first two rounds .”

Jones finished his last fight against Gane by submission in the first round. Before that, he last appeared against Alexander Gustafsson in their UFC 232 light heavyweight title rematch.

Jones vs. The excitement behind Miocic is very important worldwide. But Adesanya believes it’s crazy to expect a back-and-forth battle over five rounds.
