Man accused of multiple sex crimes found guilty

CARROLLTON, Ky. (WAVE) – A jury convicted a Carroll County man of multiple counts of rape and sexual abuse that occurred over a 10-year period.

Terry Glacken, 50, was convicted of the following charges on November 8, 2024:

  • First Degree Sodomy, Victim Under 12
  • First Degree Rape, Forcible Compulsion
  • First Degree Rape, Forcible Compulsion
  • Incest
  • First Degree Sexual Abuse, Victim Under 12 Years of Age
  • First Degree Rape, Victim Under 12
  • First Degree Sexual Abuse, Victim Under 12 Years of Age
  • First Degree Sexual Abuse
  • First Degree Sexual Abuse

Kentucky State Police said they launched an investigation into Glacken in June 2021 after a female victim reported that she had been sexually assaulted for 10 years. The young woman said the abuse started in her childhood.

According to KSP, the investigation led to the discovery of two more sexual abuse victims. Glacken was indicted by a grand jury in November 2021.

Glacken remains in the Carroll County Detention Center. Formal sentencing will be given in January 2025.
