PALM SPRINGS, Fla. — Police are searching for a driver who may be connected to the death of a pedestrian in Palm Springs last month.

Investigators said the traffic fatality occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 18 at Lake Worth Road and Corrigan Court.

In a written statement from the Palm Springs Police Department, it was stated that a man whose name was Tywon Mills was found dead on the road.

A driver who was not involved in the incident noticed the victim and called the police.

Before the crash, Mills was spotted at the bus stop by another witness walking back and forth into traffic, police said.

Mills’ bike and backpack were found at the bus stop. Police said there were no known witnesses to the crash.

In the video taken from the area, a silver or gray SUV-style vehicle that may have been involved in the incident was detected leaving the area.
