SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) — Crime Stoppers this week are trying to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying a suspect in two separate incidents of burglary and theft at Abelardos Mexican Restaurant on October 22nd and November 4th.

We were told that both times a male suspect was seen arriving in a white sedan in the early morning hours.

The male suspect used bolt cutters to break into a freestanding freezer and steal meat worth more than a thousand dollars.
