    Trump met with Biden at the White House after the roles of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy were announced

    In the first meeting of the day, Trump addressed the House GOP conference, praising their success in the election and calling it a “very good meeting.”

    After Trump entered, members began clapping and cheering and they all stood up. Then House Speaker Mike Johnson played his entrance music. Elon Musk walked in after Trump took the stage, walked over the bumper, and was then escorted to a front row seat.

    “Isn’t it nice to win? It’s nice to win. It’s always nice to win. There are a lot of good friends in this room,” he said.

    As the press was escorted out, Trump joked: “I guess I’m not going to run again unless you say, ‘He’s so good, we’ve got to find something else.'”

    His comment was met with some chuckles in the room, and he noted from the press: “Those leaving behind will write that I said it.”

    Johnson introduced Trump. Representatives Elise Stefanik (who was chosen by Trump to be the US ambassador to the UN), Steve Scalise, Tom Emmer and Richard Hudson were also on stage.
